PSA: Corps hosts public meeting for Dillingham Harbor maintenance dredging

JOINT BASE ELMENDORF-RICHARDSON – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers – Alaska District will host a public meeting to gather and consider public comments on the annual maintenance dredging project for Dillingham small boat harbor.

 

The event will be held on Monday, April 1, at 6:30 p.m. at the City Hall Council Chambers, 141 Main Street, Dillingham, Alaska 99576.

 

Corps representatives will be available to answer questions and receive public comments following a brief presentation about the project history. Further information on the Corps’ maintenance dredging at Dillingham Harbor is provided in the existing 2007 Environmental Assessment. The document may be viewed on the Alaska District’s website at: https://www.poa.usace.army.mil/Library/Reports-and-Studies/. On that webpage, look under “Reports on Active Projects.”
