operations for Doyon on their North Slope leases. Approximately 77,900 cubic yards of gravel
would be placed to construct a pad 5-7 feet deep. Two access lanes from the Spine Road
would also be constructed. These access lanes would be constructed to a minimum depth of
five feet with dimensions of 36 feet by approximately 60 feet each and would include culverts
to maintain existing drainage. Each lane would require approximately 575 cy of gravel fill for a
total of 1,150 cy. All work would be performed during late winter ending by May 2026, and in

      <description>Michael Pountney, Southeast Alaska Regional Health Consortium, stated the purpose is to construct temporary housing for out-of-town patients and medical providers. Juneau has a housing and lodging shortage, and the project would provide housing for patients traveling from remote locations to Juneau for medical care, as well as relief to the current housing market.  PROPOSED WORK: The Southeast Alaska Regional Health Consortium (SEARHC) is proposing to discharge 1,525 cubic yards of fill material into 0.58 acre of wetlands on the vacant hillside of its medical campus in Juneau, Alaska. The purpose of the proposed discharge is to construct necessary supporting infrastructure, including a 12-unit housing facility, an associated parking lot, and a 26-foot-wide access road designed to connect the new housing to the main campus facilities. The project's entire footprint including uplands encompasses 0.89 acre, requiring mechanized land clearing, vegetation removal, and grubbing.
