      <title>Army Executes POTUS Directive on Ambler Road Project</title>
      <link>https://www.poa.usace.army.mil/Media/News-Releases/Article/4325687/army-executes-potus-directive-on-ambler-road-project/</link>
      <description>President Donald J. Trump has approved the appeal of the Alaska Industrial Development and Export Authority (AIDEA), directing the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to promptly issue authorizations necessary for the establishment of the Ambler Road Project. This project will provide road transportation access to the Ambler Mining District. The Corps of Engineers will promptly act to reinstate all necessary permits under their jurisdiction. This project will make possible the development of several operations that could provide many of the critical minerals that the nation needs to compete during the 21st Century.

“Every day, President Trump is delivering on his promise to advance an energy dominance agenda for the American people,” said Assistant Secretary of the Army for Civil Works Adam Telle. “The President’s directives to advance this critical project in Alaska are yet another example of his unwavering commitment to empowering American competitiveness and economic freedom in support of America’s national interest, and I look forward to moving out swiftly.”

Since January 20, 2025, the Army Corps of Engineers has issued more than 900 permits for energy-related projects in support of President Trump’s energy dominance agenda and associated executive orders.&lt;br/&gt;
