Tisha Kuhns, Calista Corporation, stated the purpose is to mineral exploration on Calista’s Nyac Property is being conducted to delineate economically viable occurrences of precious metals, base metals, and strategic/critical minerals. This work is intended to attract a lessee to further develop the potential of the property with the goal of bringing economically viable resources into production. PROPOSED WORK: The proposed project consists of a total of 32 proposed drill holes, 11 of which are proposed within wetlands. The 11 proposed drill pads within wetlands will have a combined surface disturbance of 0.44 acres, with approximately 3300 cubic yards of regolith and 150 cubic yards of topsoil being excavated in total to construct all 11 drill pads within wetlands. Drilling operations will be road-based and accessible from an extensive network of pre-existing roads and trails that have been established by placer mining and mineral exploration activities dating back to the 1950s. Currently there are no proposals to construct new access roads and trails on the property that would fall within the wetlands described in section 13. All work would be performed in accordance with the enclosed plan (sheets 1-5), dated August 8, 2025.
