The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers-Alaska District has planned a public meeting for June 13 in Anchorage to discuss the proposed revised regional general permit for placer mining in Alaska.
The meeting is scheduled from 6-9 p.m. in the Loussac Library Wilda Marston Theatre.
The Corps will be available to take comments and answer questions about proposed reissuance of Mechanical Placer Mining General Permit, POA-2014-55, which can be viewed at this Web link:
