With offices in Anchorage, Fairbanks, Juneau and Kenai, the Alaska District is responsible for projects throughout the state, an area one-fifth the size of the Lower 48. The district has three main programs: military, civil works and environmental. The district also has a sizable function in contracting, operations and maintenance, real estate and regulatory activities.
