Contracting Division’s mission is to provide contracting services of the highest quality to our customers on a timely and cost effective basis, while maintaining the public’s trust and fulfilling public policy objectives. As an integral member of project delivery teams, we serve as the catalyst in advancing effective acquisition planning, strategies, and innovative practices. We strive to be a highly skilled, highly motivated, professional team effectively using technology, continually improving and partnering with our customers. Customers’ needs, best value, maximum competition, compliance with applicable regulations and laws, and support of small business/socio-economic programs are key in our endeavors to support the district’s missions and the interests of the region.

Current Projects

The Alaska District no longer hosts solicitation plans and specification files on our publicly accessible website. All solicitation documents and award information will be available to contractors on the beta.SAM.gov website.

U.S. Small Business Administration an independent agency of the federal government created to aid, counsel, assist and protect the interests of small business concerns, to preserve free competitive enterprise and to maintain and strengthen the overall economy of our nation. 

System for Award Management is the primary registrant database for the federal government. SAM collects, validates, stores and disseminates data in support of agency acquisition missions. 

Online Representations and Certifications Application is an e-government initiative that was designed by the integrated acquisition environment to replace the paper-based representations and certifications process. 

Electronic Subcontracting Reporting System is the next generation of tools to collect subcontracting accomplishments. 

Federal Funding Accountability and Transparency Act Subaward Reporting System is the next generation of tools to collect data for federal funding accountability and transparency act subaward reporting system. 

beta.sam.gov is the single government point-of-entry for federal government procurement opportunities over $25,000. Government are able to publicize their business opportunities by posting information directly to beta.SAM.gov via the Internet. 

Contractor Manpower Reporting Application is designed to collect information on funding source, contracting vehicle, organization supported, mission and function performed, and labor hours and costs for contracted efforts providing services to the Department of the Army from contractors and Army activities requiring contracted services from supporting contracting offices.
