Alaska District’s team implemented cost-saving measures, project efficiencies and innovative technologies to execute three concurrent remedial investigations at Formerly Used Defense Sites on remote Tanaga (pictured)and Ogliuga islands. The project received the Secretary of the Army’s highest honor in the field of environmental science and sustainability conferred by the Army.
