Tribal members and official party members gather to dedicate the Dena’ina Cache and Signage Display located on Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardon near the intersection of Post Road and Arctic Warrior Drive Oct. 5. The cache and display were constructed by the Native Village of Eklutna, the federally-recognized tribe closest to JBER. The project was funded by the Air Force while the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers-Alaska District provided project management and contract administration.
