Master Sgt. Darnyell Parker, currently the noncommissioned officer-in-charge of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - Alaska District's Military Contingency Contracting Team is scheduled to be promoted to the rank of Sergeant Major later this year. Parker started his military career as a petroleum supply specialist and later transitioned into the contracting field when the career was a new program offered by the Army.
