Chum Rum Bey Srok Health Post
Col. Craig Tippins of the U.S. Embassy participated in a ribbon-cutting ceremony Dec. 17 for the Chum Rum Bey Srok Health Post near Banlung City in the Ratanakiri Province of northeast Cambodia. The Alaska District oversaw the design and construction of this project valued at more than $340,000 and funded by the U.S. Pacific Command’s Humanitarian Assistance Program. The facility includes a nine-room health post, five-stall toilet building, water tower and medical waste incinerator. The building features two offices, two exam rooms, two delivery rooms, post-delivery room as well as a tuberculosis/HIV room and pharmacy.
