On March 26, Manson Construction’s clam-shell dredge, the “Njord,” began maintenance dredging at the Port of Alaska's terminal three. Due to the warm winter, early dredging was required to maintain a project depth of minus 35 feet. Regular annual operations will begin April 20 with Manson’s hopper dredge, the “Westport,” and will continue until November 2015.
