Col. Damon Delarosa, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers – Alaska District commander, visits participated in a ribbon-cutting ceremony for a new petroleum, oil and lubricants (POL) operations facility on Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson. Delarosa assumed command in August as the first Asian American to hold the position, encouraging his staff to be bold and lean forward into the future of arctic engineering.
