Sitka woman finds STEM career with Army engineers
Danielle Perkins, Department of the Army apprentice at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers – Alaska District, became an engineer because she liked to ask why as a kid and now gets to do that every day in her job. Following two years of working in different offices through the apprenticeship, she will be placed in a permanent position as a cost engineer.
