Army engineers conduct STEM outreach at Anchorage school
Representatives from the district's Regulatory Division visited Ravenwood Elementary School to talk about wetland delineation at the school’s STEM night. The students learned about different types of wetlands around Alaska and how they help protect from floods and pollutants through an interactive model. Through outreach efforts like these, we hope to inspire the next generation to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering and math.
