JOINT BASE ELMENDORF-RICHARDSON – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers – Alaska District will host a public meeting to present the findings of the draft feasibility study for navigation improvements at Kotzebue Harbor.
The event will be held on Thursday, Jan. 24, at 6:00 p.m. at the Northwest Arctic Borough Assembly Chambers, 163 Lagoon Street, Kotzebue, Alaska 99752.
Corps representatives will be available to answer questions about the draft report and the authorities that govern the Civil Works Branch’s mission as well as receive public comments. The report may be viewed on the Alaska District’s website at: http://www.poa.usace.army.mil/Library/Reports-and-Studies/. On that webpage, look under “Documents Available for Public Review” and expand the Civil Works link.
