Published July 11, 2013

The public is invited to an informational meeting in Craig July 22 where representatives of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Regulatory Division will discuss their program and answer questions.

The meeting is scheduled from 5:30-7:30 p.m. in the events room (dining hall) at the Shaan Seet Hotel, 501 Front Street.

Topics will include work and activities that require a permit, types of permits, how to apply for permits--including necessary application information, wetland delineations, laws and regulations--and the value of early coordination and planning.

This two-hour session will be particularly meaningful for landowners, contractors, businesses, and others who wish to learn about the Corps regulatory responsibilities and services. The meeting will include an opportunity for questions and answers along with time for one-on-one dialogue.
