Ketchikan open house about Corps regulatory program set for June 17

The public is invited to an informational meeting in Ketchikan June 17 where representatives of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Regulatory Division will discuss its program and answer questions.

The meeting is scheduled from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Cape Fox Lodge, Naa Kaani Meeting Room, 800 Venetia Way in Ketchikan.

Topics will cover work and activities that require a permit; types of permits; how to apply for permits, including required application information, wetland delineations, laws and regulations; and the value of early coordination and planning.

This two-hour session will be particularly meaningful for landowners, contractors, businesses and others who wish to learn about the Corps regulatory responsibilities and services.  The meeting will include an opportunity for questions and answers and time for one-on-one dialogue.
