Mr. Robert Thomassen's stated purpose is to expand an existing rock pad in order to make the area safely accessible by the applicant. The applicant is currently unable to safely turn his truck around on the existing pad. The project site is located within Section 10, T. 59 S., R. 79 E., Copper River Meridian; USGS Quad Map Petersburg D-3; Latitude 56.7719° N., Longitude 132.9625° W.; 360 Mitkoff Highway, in Petersburg, Alaska. PROPOSED WORK: Discharge up to 350 cubic yards (CY) of clean shot rock and armor rock into 0.035-acre below the High Tide Line (HTL; 19.5') of Wrangell Narrows in order to construct a 17-foot by 90-foot extension of his existing pad. All work would be performed in accordance with the enclosed plan (sheets 1-3), dated October 26, 2016.
