Donald and Elizabeth McConachie stated purpose is to build a boat storage facility at ground level with a residence as a second story. The project site is located within Section 25, T. 62 S., R. 83 E., Copper River Meridian; USGS Quad Map Petersburg B-2; Latitude 56.4626º N., Longitude 132.3783º W.; Wrangell Townsite, Block 83, Lot 6C; from airport road continue on to Bennett Street, turn right onto Zimovia Highway, then turn left on to Church Street, continue on to Case Avenue, the property is approximately 1/4-mile down the road on the right side; near Wrangell, Alaska. The applicant proposes to fill a lot and build a boat storage facility for two boats with a residence on the top level. Total fill material placed below the High Tide Line (HTL) would be 1,595 cubic yards that would be placed into a 0.06-acre area. The fill material would consist of small sized rock material and larger rock material for the rip-rap. All of the fill would be clean fill material. All work would be performed in accordance with the enclosed plan (sheets 1-5), dated November 29, 2016.
