William Smart, with Smart Construction Co, Inc. states that the project purpose is for waste disposal for the State of Alaska road development project projected for construction March 2020. Work being proposed includes to discharge fill material into wetlands during the creation of a waste site. The proposed 1.93 acre site would be used to dispose of organic overburden material from the State of Alaska road improvements. All work would
be performed in accordance with the enclosed plan (sheets 1-5), dated November 2019. The project site is located within Section 8, T. 75 S., R. 90 E., Copper River Meridian; USGS Quad Map Ketchikan B-6; Latitude 55.37905º N., Longitude -131.75740º W.; Gravina Island, near Ketchikan, Alaska.
