Qanirtuug, Inc.'s stated purpose is to develop a gravel pit to provide gravels for community projects. Mechanized land clearing of 6.6 acres of jurisdictional wetlands for the development of a gravel pit north of Quinhagak. The proposed gravel pit would be developed over a five year period, with approximately one acre being cleared in any given year. 20,000 cubic yards of gravel would be extracted for the construction of roads and gravel pads for community development. Gravel would be stockpiled within the pit area. All work would be performed in accordance with the enclosed plan (sheets 1-5), dated May 21, 2015.
