Mr. Gene Cheeseman stated the purpose is to construct a single family residence and access driveway.

The project site is located within Section 2, T. 41 S., R. 66 E., Copper River Meridian; USGS Quad Map Juneau B-2; Latitude 58.341157º N., Longitude -134.585938º W.; in Juneau, Alaska.

The applicant is proposing to develop and existing residential lot by constructing a driveway and fill pad to build a residence, shop, warehouse, and parking area. Specifically, the work would include the placement of 3,400 cubic yards of fill material into 1.05 acres of forested wetlands to construct a 1,000 foot long by 20 foot wide driveway. Additionally, 815 cubic yards of fill material would be placed into 0.25-acres of forested wetlands to create a building surface for the residence, shop, warehouse, and parking area. The overall impacts to wetlands would be 1.30 acres. All work would be performed in accordance with the enclosed plan (sheets 1-3), dated June, 2017.
