Mr. Jeff Owen, Post Office Box 20, Chicken, AK  99732, phone: 530-604-2580, email: ojeff65@yahoo.com, states the project purpose is to conduct placer mining activities for commercial recovery of gold. The applicant proposes to combine activities associated with several ongoing mining operations on Walker Fork and Davis Creek under one Department of the Army (DA) permit.  The applicant maintains three, separate Applications for Permits to Mine in Alaska (APMAs), for operations located along a three mile reach of Walker Fork and Davis Creek in the Fortymile Mining District.  Portions of the work are considered after-the-fact and associated with a violation issued August 22, 2017.  Corrective measures were required and addressed with voluntary restoration.  Inspection will occur during summer 2018. The project site is located within Sections 2 and 5, T. 26 N., R. 22 E., Copper River Meridian; USGS Quad Map Eagle A-1; Latitude    64.0659 N., Longitude 141.0804º W., near Boundary, Alaska.
