Mr. William Heumann, states that the project purpose is to subdivide a large tract of property in order to provide small residential lots to help meet the current demand for affordable housing in Juneau, Alaska. Work being proposed includes the placement of 3,744-cubic yards of rock, concrete, and pavement, 1,320-cubic yards of pit run/shot rock, and 1,487-cubic yards of native soil into 2.21-acres of wetlands to facilitate the construction of 14 residential homes, a 320-foot long
x 60-foot wide extension to Hillcrest avenue, a 470-foot long x 57-foot wide extension to Hooter Lane, and a 135-foot diameter cul-de-sac.  Additionally 837-linear feet of streams would be re-routed resulting in a net reduction of 105 linear feet.  All work would be performed in accordance with the enclosed plan (sheets 1-5), dated June 4, 2019.  The project site is located within Section 5, T. 41 S., R. 67 E., Copper River Meridian; USGS Quad Map Juneau B-2; Latitude 58.345352º N., Longitude -134.490486º W.; located at the end of Hillcrest Avenue, in Juneau, Alaska.
