The U.S. Air Force, POC: Hannah Kirst 907-552-3598, is proposing to create additional space for storage and staging of equipment and supplies to support Eni's Nikaitchug oil and gas development. Work being proposed includes the discharge of 15,337 cubic yards of gravel into an approximately 1.44-acre depressional area, including waters of the United States, to raise it to the same elevation as adjacent pads. All work would be performed in accordance with the enclosed plan (sheets 1-5), dated July 27, 2021. The project site is located at Latitude 70.50933º N., Longitude 149.86502º W.; at Oliktok Point approximately 39 miles northwest of Deadhorse, Alaska.
