The City and Borough of Wrangell, P.O. Box 531, Wrangell, Alaska 99929, states the purpose is to provide parking and new trail access to Mt. Dewey Trail for recreational activities. Construction of an off-road parking lot and new recreational trail to the existing Mt. Dewey Trail. Specifically, the work will include discharge of approximately 1,770 cubic yards of fill material into 0.55 acres of palustrine wetland for construction of a 60-foot-long by 46-foot-wide parking lot with a 26-foot-long by 54-foot-wide driveway entrance from Airport Road and a
2,527-foot-long by 3 to 6-foot-wide recreational trail leading from the proposed parking lot to the existing Mt. Dewey Trail. All work would be performed in accordance with the enclosed plan
