***PUBLIC NOTICE REVISION***
On February 12, 2024, the Alaska District U.S. Army Corps of Engineers published a
public notice for Department of the Army (DA) permit number POA-2024-00058,
Sawmill Cove for a DA permit application from the City and Borough of Sitka, to
construct a vessel haul out facility. The project site is located within Section 3, T. 56 S.,
R. 64 E., Copper River Meridian; USGS Quad Map Sitka A-4; Latitude 57.0478º N.,
Longitude 135.2289º W.; within the Gary Paxton Industrial Park (GPIP), in Sawmill
Cove, near Sitka, Alaska.
The notices and plans showed the footprint of the project area to be 1.09 acres.
This information is incorrect and should instead read: 1.24 acres.
All other information contained in the previous notice remains the same. Please bring
