On March 15, 2022, the Alaska District U.S. Army Corps of Engineers published a
public notice for Department of the Army (DA) permit number POA-2014-00064,
Kuskokwim River for a DA permit application from Knik Construction for the Bethel Yard
Dock to construct an open-cell steel bulkhead dock along approximately 1,100 linear
feet of the Kuskokwim River shoreline at an average depth of -15 feet Mean Lower Low
Water (MLLW). The project site is located within Section 17, T. 8 N., R. 71 W., Seward
Meridian; USGS Quad Map Bethel D-8; Latitude 60.7790º N., Longitude 161.7756º W.;
two river miles downstream from Bethel, Alaska.

This public notice revision is to note that a primary purpose of the proposed Bethel
Yard Dock is to facilitate transportation supply logistics for the Donlin Gold Project. The
proposed project is a connected action to the Donlin Gold Project as indicated in the
Donlin Gold Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS). The proposed project will
allow for temporary storage of fuel and cargo as well as the transfer of cargo and fuel
between ocean barges and river barges related to the Donlin Gold FEIS.
