Orion Marine Contractors, Incorporated's stated purpose is to construct a temporary barge landing for the purpose of unloading material and equipment for the Unalakleet erosion control rock revetment project. Construct a temporary barge landing by placing 250 cubic yards of shot rock, obtained from Pit 2 in Unalakleet, into Norton Sound to construct a temporary barge landing. The material will be built up so it is of sufficient size for the barge ramp to lay level, impacting 0.028 acres.
