Mr. Matt Workman's (MMWM, LLC) stated purpose is to provide indoor parking for airplanes and relieve the overuse of the current transient parking at the Girdwood airport. To accomplish this, the applicant proposes to construct an aircraft hangar that would accommodate 13 general aviation aircraft, and be designed to accommodate FAA designed "Primary Category, Design Group I" which includes aircraft with a wingspan of 49 feet. The project site is located within Section 9, T. 10 N., R. 2 E., Seward Meridian; USGS Quad Map SEWARD D-6; Latitude 60.9688º N., Longitude 149.1174º W.; at the Girdwood Airport; Girdwood, Alaska.
