PURPOSE: The applicant, Randy Reese, has stated his purpose as to establish a new residence for the Reese family and to ensure that their livestock can safety live on the land with adequate food, water, and shelter.
LOCATION: The project site is located within Section 1, T. 4S., R. 3 E., Fairbanks Meridian; USGS Quad Map Fairbanks C-1; Latitude 64.5966º N., Longitude 147.0721º W.; Eielson Small Tracts, Tract C; southbound on Richardson Highway towards Salcha, turn right onto Stringer Road, then right onto Homesite Court. The property is on left at end of circle in Salcha, Alaska.
PROPOSED WORK: The applicant proposes to clear vegetation and place approximately 92,000 cubic yards (cy) of gravel and 30,000 cy of topsoil as fill material in approximately 7 acres of wetlands for a residential house pad, yard, driveway access, livestock holding, and pasture areas. All work would be performed in accordance with the enclosed plans (sheets 1-2), dated February 5, 2018.
