The stated purpose of the applicants, Mr. Peter Fama and Ms. Ann Fama, is to prevent further erosion of the shoreline on the property and construct a single family residence on the upland portion of the lot. Proposed work: Place 1,583 cubic yards of fill material into 0.1-acre below the High Tide Line (HTL) of Tongass Narrows. The lot was previously partially developed with unsuitable materials that are eroding during high tides and storm events. The proposed project would place shot rock from a local quarry to prevent further erosion and supply a durable foundation for a single family residence. Please contact Roberta K.
