Native Village of Nuiqsut's stated purpose is to provide vehicular road access to the Colville River to enhance the transportation of materials needed for subsistence hunting and fishing including return of harvest. Proposed Work: Construct a 3.75 mile single-lane gravel road, south from the village of Nuiqsut, to the main channel of the Colville River. The proposed project would begin at the end of the existing Fresh Water Lake Access Road and terminate at the Colville River, main channel, north bank. Construction would occur in winter. .
