ConocoPhillips Alaska Inc.,'s stated purpose is to expand the Drill Site 2G (DS 2G) to accommodate continued development of the Greater Kuparuk Area Oil Field, including new wells and infrastructure. Location: The project site is located within Section 32, T. 11 N., R. 9 E., Umiat Meridian; USGS Quad Map Beechey Point B-5; Latitude 70.2571º N., Longitude 149.9320º W.; approximately 25 miles east of Nuiqsut. Prosposed Work: Expand the DS-2G gravel pad approximately 1.17 acres by placing 8,596 cubic yards of gravel fill in wetlands.
