Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center stated purpose is to eliminate hazardous driving situations that the current location of the access driveway poses. Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center proposes to discharge 5,000 cubic yards of gravel into 0.72-acre of wetlands to create a 1200 foot long access road into the existing facilities at the site. The turn-out portion of the road would be 46 feet wide at the top of the prism, with the rest of the road having a top width of 24 feet. All work would be performed in accordance with the enclosed plan (sheets 1-3) dated March 10, 2014 and December 31, 2013.
