The Fox Lions Club’s stated purpose is to develop a community park for year-round recreation. The applicant proposes to mechanically clear and level 2.7 acres of wetlands for the project. The project would consist of a cut and fill balance of the area to create level land for the construction of multi-purpose fields, ice rink, pavilion area, picnic area, parking area, and other infrastructure.
Once cleared, the level area would be seeded with commercially available grasses. Fill would be placed in uplands for the development of a parking area and extension of the access road.
